Station Tours
Tours of Station 28 or 29 are available in the month of October (Fire Prevention Month). Tours include viewing the fire engines and equipment, as well as talking to firefighting personnel.
Station tours must be scheduled with the receptionist by mid-September to assure availability. Group size is limited to 30 people (including children and chaperones). There must be 1 adult chaperone for every 5 children.
The fire station and its personnel remain on-duty while the tour is in progress. Firefighters may be at a call at the start of the scheduled tour or may need to respond to emergencies at any time. If a call comes in during this time, it will be necessary to end the tour and your group to exit the station. Please keep this in mind.
To schedule a tour call the receptionist at (206) 242-2040 during normal business hours.
